  This RET Site solicitation has been revised to: Clarify the minimum number of teachers per Site, a minimum number of weeks for the research component, and expectations for academic-year follow-up activities; Strongly encourage industrial partners, as well as involvement of faculty, undergraduate students, and graduate students as part of the university team; and Revise the approach to budgeting for Sites and Supplements. RET Sites support a cohort of at least 10 STEM teachers and/or community college faculty per year for a minimum of six weeks during the summer. The STEM teachers and/or community college faculty will participate in summer research activities with a common intellectual focus on a host university campus and will then participate in academic-year follow-up activities including integration of content and methods related to the summer research into their classroom practice and other related outreach activities involving teachers in their local school districts

Anyone wishing to submit a proposal for one of these programs should click on the appropriate link in the list above. To expedite the process of planning an internal competition, please submit your notice of intent as soon as you know you have an interest in the funding program. You are only required to include the name of the Principal Investigator, any co-PI's, and the subject or title of the proposed project. The deadline for the internal notice of intent is indicated above.
